| In 2008 the Centennial High School Marching Band from
Meridian School District in Idaho participated in Harvest and won 3rd Place in the AAA-S division. In 2016, one of the band's members in 2008 brought the band back to Harvest as its Band Director! And Centennial High School was in the finals again! Nicely done Brittany!Brittany Brings, Band Director Centennial Marching Band and Colorguard West Ada School District - Boise, ID | The weather results for 2016 at Harvest were: Preliminary Competition had light rain and no wind Finals Competition had no rain or wind Now we have always boasted how it never rains at Harvest during competition. Thanks to the leftovers of Typhoon Songda we'll have to change it to: Still, the weather here was hardly the "storm of the century" as predicted. |

| Sweepsstakes Trophy: Central Valley High School First Place AAA - Large Bands First Place AAA - Small Bands First Place A - Bands | Nineteen bands participated in the festival with three additional bands being unable to be here due to the weather on the west side of the state. Two announcers, Nolan Porter and Dewey Boynton, kept the crowd informed and entertained all day. One band, Central Valley High School (Spokane), won the Sweepstakes trophy in their first visit to Harvest. One band, although all 16 criteria scores from the judges were different, earned exactly 88.435 in both Preliminary and Finals competition. That's our #1 numerical oddity for 2016! |
