Thanks for suppling the PA System and Instrument Booth at the Harvest Marching Band Festival!
Ted Brown opened the doors to his new music store, Ted Brown Music, his primary product was pianos. The obvious supplement to this was sheet music. Band Instruments came in next to support the product line and make a well rounded music store. During the mid 40's, in the midst of WWII, all metal was diverted to the war effort so band instruments were not even made. Needing to get things to sell, Ted called on his many friends and contacts in the business world. While he couldn't get musical instruments, he could get things like model planes and watches. This was enough to keep people coming in so that when inventory became available, customers shopped first with him. The business grew by adding televisions, home stereo systems and records.
Yakima Lions Club
Lions are members of community service clubs, dedicated to the idea that the men and women who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why. More than 44,500 strong, these local clubs are part of the world's largest such organization, with 1.4 million members serving in more than 180 countries and areas. The association is both non-political and non-sectarian. Lions believe that our strength lies within the collective power of serving with others. Through volunteer efforts, Lions raise money to benefit their community, nation, and the less fortunate around the world. Through these same efforts, Lions donate their time to assist their communities and the individuals with special needs. (9th Year as Platinum Sponsor)

Abby's PizzaAbby's Legendary Pizza

It all started in July of 1964. Two long-time friends and high school classmates, Albert Broughton and James Harrell (better known as Abby and Skinny), opened the doors of the very first Abby’s Pizza Inn on N.E. Stephens in Roseburg, Oregon. It wasn’t long before word of Abby’s spread like melted mozzarella cheese throughout the region, and a legend was born.

In June of 1965, Abby and Skinny added to the legend by opening their second Abby’s – this time in Grants Pass, Oregon. During the next eight years their operation mushroomed to include seven more outlets, each built around a simple, successful formula: create a friendly, family atmosphere. Maintain the highest operating standards. And serve great pizza.

By 1997, Abby's Legendary Pizza locations could be found from Wenatchee, Washington to Medford, Oregon. Today, there are 34 Abby's locations serving hungry pizza customers throughout Washington and Oregon.

Yamaha Music Corporation

Since Yamaha Music Foundation was established in 1966, it has generated a wide range of music activities throughout global society, including Yamaha music schools, and the Junior Original Concert. Strong commitment to promote and support music education and popularization is one of the most significant elements to distinguish Yamaha from its competitors. This is the 2nd year of Yamaha's sponsorship.

Yakima Valley Community Band

The Harvest Marching Band Festival would like to express our appreciation to the Yakima Valley Community Band for their assistance with the operation of the event. Many Community Band members, most without students in either host band, spend many hours helping at the festival! Thanks! We could not do this without you!
