Introducing their show “Temporal Distortion” Temporal Distortion is a change that happens to a person's perception of passing time relative to real clock time. This perception can change due to many reasons, some being your emotional and relationship state, level of engagement during moments in your life, and going through stages of one's life. A journey where time feels still, rushed, forgetful, and at ease.

For Wade Watts, that escape is the OASIS—a vast virtual universe where anything is
possible, and anyone can become whoever they choose.
But when the creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind one final challenge: a
hidden Easter egg, and with it, control of the OASIS itself.
To find the egg, players must solve the mysteries of the OASIS and discover three hidden
keys—each unlocking the next challenge.
The race is on.
Three keys.
One Easter egg.
One chance to change the world.
Welcome… to the OASIS.
Come join the Highland Scotties as they travel to the Oasis in “Ready Player One”.

"Today, two worlds collide. From the grand concert halls of 19th-century Russia, to the raw, electrifying energy of the modern rock arena — prepare to witness a musical journey unlike any other.

Rachmaninoff poured his heart and soul into his Piano Concerto No. 2, a sweeping masterpiece of passion, tension, and triumph. Linkin Park channeled a generation's worth of struggle and resilience into "In the End" — an anthem that refuses to be silenced.

What happens when classical grandeur meets iconic rock? When lush orchestral strings collide with driving rhythm and haunting melody? You're about to find out.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the field, the Peninsula High School Seahawk Marching Band, as they present their show...

Rach. And. Roll."

2026 Program: RED

Beyond the familiar path lies a forest of malevolence, where innocence is fragile, temptation is perilous, and predators seldom appear as they seem. A scarlet cloak moves beneath the canopy. A grandmother waits. And somewhere among the trees, an insatiable wolf watches... listens... and hungers.

Tonight, the Wenatchee Golden Apple Marching Band and Color Guard take a familiar tale and descend into its darker origins: a macabre journey of deception, devouring, death, and deliverance, inspired by the Brothers Grimm’s Rotkäppchen. Beware the path you choose, for in this forest, benevolence and malevolence are not always distinguishable until it is too late.

Act 1 - Searching for Grandma
Act 2 - Finding Grandma… or have we?
Act 3 - Realization, grandma was eaten by the wolf
Act 4 - RAGE!

Show Title: Beyond the Horizon
What happens when we leave the ground behind?
Beyond the Horizon takes you on a journey into the open sky, inspired by the beauty and adventure of hot air balloon flight. From the anticipation of takeoff to the peaceful wonder of floating high above the earth, the show captures the excitement of leaving the ground behind and discovering where the wind might take us.
As the journey continues, we find ourselves soaring higher, where the open sky becomes a symbol of possibility, adventure, and freedom. With each new height, the horizon expands, inviting us to let go, embrace the unknown, and see the world from a new perspective.
The sky is calling. It’s time to take flight.

Kintsugi: Beautifully Broken

This is the story of something broken. The story of Kintsugi - becoming whole. The Japanese philosophy which finds beauty in transience and flaws. A "Kintsugi heart" represents the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold, serving as a metaphor for healing brokenness, embracing flaws, and finding beauty in scars. It symbolizes that mended hearts are stronger, more beautiful, and more resilient than before they were broken. By joining pieces together not with glue, but with gold; we discover we are stronger, more beautiful - together.

Program Synopsis:
Journey to the Aurora you through a single night, following the transformation of the sky from the final light of day to the breathtaking appearance of the northern lights.

The journey begins at sunset, as the warmth and energy of the day gradually disappear below the horizon. As darkness settles in, the performers enter a star-filled night, capturing the mystery, beauty, and vastness of the night sky.

From the darkness, the moon begins to rise. Moon River provides the emotional heart of the show - a quiet, reflective moment as moonlight illuminates the landscape and anticipation continues to build.

Finally, the sky begins to change. Hints of color emerge and grow until the aurora is fully revealed, filling the field with light, motion, and color. The performers and audience arrive together at the destination they've been waiting for: the northern lights in their full brilliance.

The show is ultimately about wonder, anticipation, and the beauty of the journey toward something extraordinary - because sometimes the experience of getting there is just as meaningful as the destination itself.

A point where paths cross.
Where separate lines converge, where distance disappears, and connection begins.
The center.
The intersection.
The nexus.
But a nexus is more than a place.
It is the moment one becomes many—and many become one.
A first step becomes a shared journey.
A single voice becomes a collective sound.
A heartbeat finds another, and then another, until they beat as one.
Because every path changes when it meets another.
Every connection leaves its mark.
And somewhere between who we were, and who we are becoming, we find each other.
We find our place.
We find our sound.
And in the space where our paths collide, something greater begins.
This is our neXus.

Birds of a Feather

The Eisenhower Band’s 2026 program is titled “Birds of a Feather,” featuring music by The Beatles, Mozart, Coldplay, Max Richter, and Billie Eilish. “Birds of a feather flock together” is a timeless expression with deep historical roots, spanning boundaries of culture and language.

As we grow, we find our “flocks” - we create connections over shared values. Within those connections, we learn to adapt our individual way of life to support our communities. Every gesture of belonging and every individual sacrifice we make for our “flock” sends a message: we are better together. Within our flock is strength, safety, and community greater than any we can discover on our own.
