Description: Twenty of the finest High School Marching Bands in Washington will be competing in the Harvest Marching Band Festival this year involving over 2000 musicians and 4000+ spectators. Each band performs a ten-minute show including wind and percussion musicians, flag teams, rifle squads, dance teams, etc. for judging. The top 10 bands compete in the finals.
This competition has quickly become an annual event due to the success of previous yearâs festival. Most of the bands from last year are returning along with several new challengers. Some of the bands use semi-trailer trucks to carry all of the equipment that is used! Locally, West Valley High School will be in the competition and Eisenhower and Davis High Schools perform in exhibition (at 11:00 and 11:15 AM) as the hosts of the festival.
