The call to adventure begins on the open sea, where trouble starts to stir as the clouds darken and swirl. As thunder claps and waves crash across the deck, there is no hope for survival. As the storm clears, we find ourselves in reflective isolation under a moon lit sky and when the dawn arrives, it is time to set out once again into the horizon.

The Eisenhower High School Cadet Marching Band and Color Guard is proud to present in exhibition our 2021 program, RESILIENCE.

To say our world is going through difficult times right now, would be a massive understatement. There are so many days where our world would benefit from having the innocence and naiveté of a young child. That is the inspiration for the nursery songs at the beginning of the show. The second movement represents agony at a time of loss. The last movement represents hope by making use of Horatio Spafford's "It Is Well with My Soul."

Director: Jeremy Freisz

Percussion: Dante Noble, Casey O’Brien, Tim Mitchel, Hannah Rolfson

Color Guard: Rachel Rose, Faith Finch

Visual Caption Head: Kolby Arnold

Past honors/accomplishments
The Ram Band focuses on our most important accomplishment of providing a fun, supportive, and inclusive culture to provide a well-rounded music experience to all student musicians at West Valley High School.

Program Description:
“Relationships of many kinds bring value to life. Whether those relationships are between you and your sibling, best friend, boyfriend or girlfriend, or your spouse. All relationships have their highs and lows, like when you can finish each other's sentences, or when you decide to spend time away after a passionate disagreement. Consider the best days of your relationships and how that would be performed in this activity. What does it look like to argue to the breaking point? What does it feel like to hug your best friend for the first time in months or years?

The West Valley Ram Marching Band is proud to present their 2021 program, titled 2gether. The Rams return to the field to inspire the world to choose people over differences, to give others permission to fall but be there to help them stand again, and to recognize that above all we are truly better 2gether.”
