East meets West as Cascade Sound presents its 2003 program, The Music of Life, by contemporary American composer Joseph Curiale. Heavily influenced by the power, beauty and majesty of the west as well as the culture and mysticism of Asia, Curiales music explores and portrays themes which seem both familiar and new. Just as life is a constantly changing pattern of moods, feelings and experiences, Curiales music portrays the rhythm of life through constant changes in meter, tempo and emotion. Musical selections include Call of the Mountain, Adelina de Maya, River of Tears, and Joy.Cascade Sound
